Treeman questions
I'm in the process of completing my Halfling team but I need two or three treemen.
I was looking in the Impact store and I really like the Willy Miniatures Treeman, but I would like the second and third treeman to be a different miniature so my questions are:
How does the Willy miniature compare to the GW Treeman and the JB Demon Treeman size-wise?
Are there any other suitable Treemen in the style of the Willy Miniatures Treeman?
Any pictures would be helpful.
thanx in advance

Here you go -
He is quite short for a treeman but still very good.
I want Pug to start selling pot plant treemen though. I would love to own one of those.

Re: Treeman questions
Don't have photos, but have played against a team that had both, and they look perfect together. The Willy Miniatures is maybe a mm or two higher than the JB Demon one, but they are so similar in style they look great together. Add in the bonus fact that fit easilly on a 30mm base, and you have a great pair of Trees!
(It's what I'm using by the way, two JB Demon trees for the standard treemen with a slight repose on one to make it look different, and the Willy Treeman as Deepfruit.)

Re: Treeman questions
Reaper miniatures do a great treeman, which you can see in the picnic pillagers team on pitch invaders 'laughing ferret' blog (to lazy to find it now). I have used circle of orbos woldwardens before and they look great as treemen.
As for the JB demon tree and the willy tree (snicker) they look perfect together. Like peas in a pod.
Edit= ahhh monkey butt, I'm not that lazy=
Mossbeard from reaper miniatures.
Wold wardens from privateer press=
The big one was deeproot (I think) and the smaller variety I couldn't find pictures of I used as treeman.
Edit2=
The smaller ones, I was a bit to obsessive to not find them.

Thanks garion...I have seen Willy's picture before and was personally hoping for a side by side with some other "big guys"... I appreciate it though.garion wrote:Here you go -

Re: Treeman questions
Picked up one each of the JB and Willy trees to go with my Deadlings.
Disappointed that they really don't fit together, but as has been said earlier, I'll use the Willy one as Deeproot and get another JB one.

Please elaborate, By the looks of the picture posted earlier they seem fine together, although it irritates me that those two JB demon Treemen in the picture are different from the one in the Impact store (and I'm not a great converter).
