Those trees are truly sinister nazgob - like something out of a dark fairy tale! I like the finish and posing of the silver birches, but the face Strongbranch is fantastic. Looking forward to seeing them in person!

Not sure about Strongbranch, but the Silverbark brothers look great!
(question...why the blue base?)

Glad you guys approve.

@aino the blue base goes with the custom pitch I obtained at the naf wc.

What's wrong with deeproot? He's actually my favourite. I'm honestly intrigued.

Looking at him again in more detail today it's not the paintjob (though the blue details where I was expecting moss is not my favourite part), it's probably the fact that he looks a bit "square". I like the fact that even the standing Silverbark doesn't seem really static... which is unfortunately the feeling I get with Strongbranch

Big problem with the Rat Ogre pose. The shoulder pad on the right arm should not be at that angle underneath the arm. A pad stays on the shoulder no matter where the arm is positioned.

Indeed, now that you mention it... Simply overlooked due to the paintjob in my case...

Fair points all around.

I will say that the conversion on the rat was not my doing :-)

By blue, I am aware that I missed some bits of moss and have redone them. Oops.

Now, tomorrow I will be trying to sort my duel entry, but right now, I am looking for orcs. I am planning for next year and am thinking about something that will allow me to play with freehand a bit.

The greebo orcs in uniform offer a perfect chance for this, but come in limited poses.

The comixionis orcs are nicer models in my opinion, but it will be harder to achieve what I want. They are smaller and have fewer flat surfaces.

Does anyone have a third option?

The trees were great, but pose two problems:

1) Definitely need some base weights
2) They hid players, especially Mr Deeproot - in our game we both had times were we missed players because they were behind him (especially Naz missing a chance to 3D my Pogoer ;) ).

Somewhat, maybe. :-? They are designed after the Gamorreans from the Star Wars movies.

I thought that you guys (who didn't see it in Nottingham), might like to see the painted duel entry.

TOs! You do not need multiple copies of rosters. It's a waste of paper.
