Golden football december challenge, big guy bonanza!

Post by inkpwn »

Big guys have won it! Do you have a snow troll in the works? Rat ogre? Treeman? Any ST5 and above player is welcome! This includes mummys but excludes the ball and chain. Previously tinkered conversions are welcome but all paint jobs must be done solely in this month. No colour minimum, any manufacturer welcome.

I have a comixinonos snow troll on the way, I don't know about you but I think this looks to be an awesome month.

Oooh I have an Ogre team that needs painting up soon-ish, so I might get kick-started on that (currently undercoated) with one guy or another... either that or I might have a Wood Elf Treeman to paint as part of a commission (oo-er, check me out with my painting-for-money!) on Saturday. Decisions, decisions!

If I paint all 3 of my Pact big guys, do I get to enter 3 times?

No?

Ah well :-)

I've undercoated a neomix troll ready for this. Looking forward to painting him - cue more yellow and black and white checks (he's from the same team).

Your yellow-black&white was so inspiring that I am thinking of re-painting my goblins with this scheme. I was therefore planning to have a converted old citadel stonetroll with these colours.

If you're having a Troll with same patern as your last entry my Troll stands no chance :o

Ah, you'll do fine.

I'm starting to really think through it. I reckon a lighter, more washed out skin tone so it shows up all the nicks and cuts (and pustules) that this model has. Going to have to wait though as I'm busy now until the weekend.. :(

Hmm, my converted rat ogre is currently just basecoated - does that count as a potential entry?

Otherwise it'll be a goblin troll, the only downside being that members of Da Beez Neez of Greezy Sleez come with a most charming black and yellow striped patterning so purely for the sake of diversity I'd rather go for the r'ogre.
