how did you make the divots in that display board to slot your bases in?
@waaght
That´s just two board with same size. The first one without holes, the second one with holes.
There are drills with the right size for bases diameter. Than both board just glued together
as a sandwich and a nice frame around. Tatataaa... Ready ! ;-)

BTW.. i just have to say, sawing and putting the frame perfect around the board is the difficult part!
I build just this one for the GoldenDemon competition. All the others i build without frames for my travel
showcase and my wall cabinet.

BTW.. that just the cabinet for the team on teambase.

It's from IKEA. I also have one of them at my parent's. Really good for storaging miniatures.

Cheers for the extol! The whole thread is really inspiring, I've spent the afternoon painting Galmen Goreblade for my Pact team after Traveler posted a pic of him.

I've seen those cases at IKEA but I get a nasty glare from my better half everytime I take a gander at them

It's a mix of Vallejo orange fire(?) and Vallejo moon yellow as a base. I just build up with moon yellow after that on the raised bits and add white until it is almost white.

My mantra is "bright".

I'm a fan of your work by the way, although I don't have the heart to cut up 2nd ed minis -too sentimental!

Those elves are gorgeous Fassbinder. Love the clean style, I think it suits the second edition minis so well.

This is such a great idea and there's so many impressive and inspiring teams already posted. Forgive my poor lighting conditions and crappy camera:

Underland Adventurers (Necromantic) [Alice in Wonderland theme]
Image

Da Knuckleheads (Ogre) [Three Stooges / Awful Comedy Movies theme]

The Thunder Lizards (Lizardmen)

Ellyrion Eagles (High Elf)
