Base ring tutorial

Just add two pence here. If you are painting a band, you may wish to paint the whole base the band colour, then (when dry) put an elastic band on. Line it up nicely, then lightly paint over it in black. When it dries, just take off the band, and hopefully you'll have a nice neat line. Hopefully! I havent tried it myself, but I don't see why it would not give a good cut in on the paint. Saves you fiddling about with masking tape. Those little loom bands might do it, you'd need ones that that have been cut uniformly, or you could just use the loom bands!
