Those are pretty cool! Not too big, not too small. Some greenstuff work for shoulder/knee pads and/or pants and they would be perfect.

I went with a couple of the Impact! Miniatures Spike Werewolves for my Necro team. I sculpted a kneepad or two and extra bits and they were good to go.

Cheers for posting the scale pic!

Those do scale well. I like the idea of a weretiger for some reason. "Claws" seems more appropriate than the werewolf. Also he's in a three-point football player stance. Thanks for posting!

Surely you mean the "three-point super-hero drop" pose...

Connexion's teams and miscellaneous miniature painting

A few days ago, I finished the third (and final) harpy which concluded the the "wild warband" project. Here's a group shot of the warband:

Image

This was a very interesting and challenging project which took me away from my confort zone (Blood Bowl and Undead) and for which I had to do some research on real life natural colours and patterns (wolves, vultures, owls, goats and kinds of tree bark). Though lacking the time (and also most of the miniatures), I would like to build a couple more warbands for Otherworld: one oriental-themed (with a Weretiger, an Oni/Ogre Mage, a Pennanggalan, a couple of mummies, a Djinn and their arab-style wizard/illusionist) and, another, subterranean-themed (with Myconids and the Myconi King, a drow priestess and I don't know what else). Perhaps someday... :beardy:

For what may be coming up next, see the list below. Jerry Cornelius should be the next single piece project and, after that, I hope to begin painting a Blood Bowl Nurgle team assembled with a selection of miniatures from the Heresy catalogue. I've also given a quick lick of paint to the Oni/Ogre Mage meaning that I've actually started the oriental warband project though it won't be following anything ressembling a regular schedule (and I still am missing some of the required minis like the mummies, the djinn and the wizard...).

Onwards! :orc:

This week's flavour is...

Jerry Cornelius, trans-temporal and inter-dimensional Man of Mistery Extraordinary
Image

With this I conclude my little project of small vignettes of my favourite Eternal Champions (Corum, Elric and Jerry) which are also my favourite sculpts from these old Citadel ranges.
Image
Corum is, by far, my favourite character and sculpt of the three and I suppose it shows in the end result.
Elric was a pretty straightforward paint job but I'm afraid I screwed it up a bit with the gloss varnish.
Unfortunately, I feel I just didn't know where to go with Jerry (and doesn't help that photographing neon paint is next to impossible, I used quite a bit of those).

Finished last night, a goblin referee side-line miniature for Blood Bowl which also doubles as a bribe marker (he's holding a bag of gold behind his back!):

A group shot of the referee crew:

I suppose that four referees is more than enough...
