It's a great feeling when that happens. At this rate, you should be out of your lead pile in 2150. Great wizard BTW. Mordheim?connexion wrote:Done in 6 days (15 mins here, 30 mins there...):

Yes, it's the Mordheim warlock. After finishing this one, I'm regretting not having bought a few more Mordheim minis...
Funny you mention it but it's true.Stompie wrote:It's a great feeling when that happens.
Actually, If I managed to keep my current rythm and not buy a single mini (yeah, right...) I'd maybe be able to get out of the lead (and plastics) pile sometime around 2030. Need eternal life and youth potion, kthxbai. At this rate, you should be out of your lead pile in 2150.

Has it really been all this time since my last post...?!
Fox of Nine Tails cheerleader for my Skaven team using Greebo's "Hand Of Death" line. The team is called "Ribeira da Granja Runners" and the colours will be black and fluorescent magenta/pink.

Re: Connexion's teams and miscellaneous miniature painting
Took awhile but I finally got around to photographing my Chaos Pact team, the Mandelbrot Marauders. Painted between 2009 and early 2011, the Mandelbrot Marauders were my de facto second team and I'm still quite happy with the end result.
As, back then (like now, to be honest), there were no "official" GW Chaos Pact miniatures, I ended up creating the team by mixing and matching pieces from the GW/Citadel online catalog (these being the days in which one could still buy Specialist Games stuff) and, in the end, the shopping list was:
- one box of Marauders
- one DE BB blitzer
- one Skaven blitzer + one Skaven star player (ended up using the later)
- one River Troll (the Chaos Troll sucked, imho)
- one Chaos Ogre
- one BB Minotaur
- one Chaos Spawn (for bits & bobs for mutations)
- one Nurgle Sorcerer
- one Tzeentch Sorcerer
Stuff I had in the shelf:
- 5 Pink + Blue Horrors
- 1 Slaanesh daemonette
- 1 Bloodletter
- various bits & bobs from other plastic sets (goblin, etc)
Throw everything in a blender, put in the oven, nuke it and a Chaos Pact team comes out.
Group shot:
To be replaced by a better one as soon as I have the chance
Coaching staff:
The Renegades:
Elf is #2, Goblin is #4 and the Skaven is, naturally, #13
The Marauders:
Marauders 6 to 9 and 11 are aligned with the respective number's Chaos God (Slaanesh, Nurgle, Khorne and Malal) and wear the patron god's colours. The others are unaligned and have a variety of mutations (Big Hand, Claws, Extra Arms)
The Big Guys:
Team Markers & Re-Roll Counters:
Coming next:
- Lightning Vixens wood elf team (photos already taken)
- Star Players
- stuff

Re: Connexion's teams and miscellaneous miniature painting
Seems I'm a roll so please allow me to introduce the Lightning Vixens. All models, except where otherwise noted, are from Greebo (and also available from Rolljordan, it seems) and were painted between 2011 and late 2012.
Group shot:
To be replaced by a better one as soon as there's the chance...
The Coaching Staff:
Team medic from Gaspez, coach and wizard/cook from GW.
The Treeman:
Model available from Gaspez Arts.
The Elfs:
Star Players:
Willowtree Rosebark from Willy Miniatures.
Turn, Score and Re-Roll counters plus Treeman markers:
That's all for now, folks. Decent group shot as I have the time to do it.

Re: Connexion's teams and miscellaneous miniature painting
Could we see the scale of those wood elf ladies next to some standard gw blood bowlers? Like the plastics if you have them,...or even a run of the mill space marine
also love the slick black and red paint scheme

Left to right: Willy Amazon, Warlord Games Dwarfette, Gaspez Slann, Greebo Wood Elf, GW Zombie, GW Marauder, Gaspez Nippon Skaven
Left to right: GW Wight, Otherworld Skeleton, Willy Amazon, Greebo Wood Elf, Willy Vampire Thrall
If asked I'd say most are smaller than the average miniature but a couple (the throwers) are taller.
Heh, thanks!txapo wrote:great ladies!ª!

Thanks....i have a set of the alyon elves and they seem super tiny. I was wondering if the wood elves were the same. They seem pretty good scale though

Re: Connexion's teams and miscellaneous miniature painting
Ladies & Gentlemen, allow me to introduce you to the latest addition to the PXC-96 Star Players Roster: Aurokh Paingiver!
No definite rules/stats or cost yet but, for this Slaanesh-dedicated minotaur star player, I'm toying with:
6 5 2 8
Loner, Frenzy, Horns, Wild Animal, Disturbing Presence Juggernaut
