lovely work - I think the hair needs a little tidy up/more highlighting, but still a fantastic looking team!

Very cool. Love your conversion work and wish I had time, talent and extra figures.

Maybe you're right. I didn't aim for the classic white look, but maybe some extra highlights wouldn't hurt. Purple is a bitch to highlight effectively though :-?

yeah, very hard to stop before you get too pink.. I find red the same.. I have to resist the temptation to start highlighting with orange..

Try highlighting red with dwarf flesh. Seems weird, but it works

The witch looks great! I used a similar approach with my Dark Elves - I think the Eldar Harlequins are a great source of components for elfy teams.

Really glad to see you restart this team :)

I already commented on your blog, but I love this witch elf, probably my favorite witch elf ever. She looks really fierce.

She is stunning in every way! I can't decide whether I'm most impressed by the conversion or the paint job, but she is hands down the coolest Dark Elf player I have ever seen.

I know! Your efforts was what inspired me to do this team in the first place.

I wish i had your painting ability and conversion skills. really man, this team looks great.

I started painting D&D figures in 1976. I like to kid that i'm no better these days than back when i was 9. :(

But truth be told, i'm not fit to clean your brushes...

As long as we're just talking about the actual conversion work I'm sure we could work something out.

Pedda wrote:I'll give yellow a try. Would you mind listing the colors you use?
My recipe is as follows:
1. White primer
2. Base coat of Citadel Yriel Yellow
3. Wash the base coat with Vallejo transparent orange
4. Touch up with Citadel Yriel Yellow
5. First highlights with Citadel Flash Git Yellow
6. Second highlights with Citadel Flash Git Yellow + white
7. Final highlights with Citadel Flash Git Yellow + more white
Would it be posible to know which colors did you use for painting the skin? I find it quite original and I would like to give it a try.

Any advances on the rest of the team?
