Just a quick update to the modular dungeon pitch I mentioned above.

I've received a test print and will post up photos of the actual product in action over the next few days and weeks when I can find someone to playtest it with me.

Each mat has 12 '6x4' rooms, 6 '2x2' corridors, 6 doors, 6 teleporters, 6 chests (with hidden balls and explosions) as well as 6 traps and a scatter direction marker. This is everything you need to play games.

You can have a buy them here for $38.
Coupon Code SHIP30 to get free international shipping. I've ordered from this POD company about 15 times and usually get goods in Australia from time of ordering to delivery of 3-5 weeks with the cheapest post option.

So you cut then the mat when it arrives. Right?

I think to order five of them for our dungeon cup tournament next spring in germany.
Along with our 3 custom made ones from plaster.

That's right, I was glad to find it cuts up easily with normal kitchen scissors. I didn't need to use a ruler or a hobby knife.
Much lighter to carry than plaster!

I'm really happy with this. The bottom is rubber, so they don't slip at all, even on my glass table.

Image

I took this photo with a black rubber mat underneath it as well (because it looks better on black), and the combination of rubber on rubber means it definitely doesn't move at all!

Here are some closeups:

You can also buy a set of the dungeon bowl special play cards that I made for use with the LRB6 dungeon bowl rules from the same site

The rubber dungeon mats look nice, but where are the end zones?

see the rules in my signature,

the 3 doors at each end of the field serve the same function as endzones.

The shown dungeon tiles are exactly the set to build the 12 different dungeons for the Adelaide dungeonbowl rules. Before the game 2d6 are rolled and that dungeon then assembled and played.

And 3 doors give the game a better flow then an endzone full of blockers. :)

I like those rubber backed mats. Well done!

As another option, has anyone tried the three Dungeon Builder Kits from Mage Knight? They also come with pre-painted doors.

Those rubber mats look fantastic, may have to pick up one myself. Would love to see a few different styles e.g Inside Egyptian pyramid (Tomb Kings) or Mayan/Incan/Aztec temple (Lizardmen) etc
