I'm not sure it used an Axer or Impaler, shoulder pads match Bouncer. Arms in right one look like from other source too. All 3 references seem to have been remade (for different material), so maybe older versions.

But the ones you picked should work fine too. Just in case you were wondering about the pads. :)

I know...
The website the picture is from said that he "bought a couple of boxes", so yes, this might be a kitbash.
But the position of the trolls are those of the Axer and Impaler, maybe beefed up wuth some Bouncer parts.
I didn't want to order bouncers because I didn't know if the shield is attached to the arm or optional.

I think it's way easier to GS some shoulders than rebuild an antire arm.

The positions, IMO, are a camera illusion mixed with parts being easy to move (cut the plugs and glue with putty, if not already ball joint or similar like the head).
Image
Separate shield. And the chain too. Easy one, just assemble and some filling.
Image
The other arms seem to be from Axer, arm plugs must be compatible.
Image
Maybe they even chuck random parts when it does not matter, like above battlegroup box. It has the Bouncer head. And I start to think the Axer body is the Bouncer one too, just hidden behind the extra pauldron.

Please comment about the quality of that plastic once you start working on them. It looks familiar.

Hm.... Thanks for the pictures...
Maybe I should order 2 bouncers too and then kitbash them...

Well, since the Axer and Impaler are already on their way, I'll pop open their boxes and see what I can do with them.

Thanks.
I already knew about those but I just don't like the style of them.
Yeah, I know... I'm very difficult but I'm not just buying some miniatures, I want to buy stuff I like.

Today, my Hordes Trolls arrived and they're great!
Pretty easy to make the weapons snips and I love the fact that the parts are mostly pot together like plug and socket, so you don't have to wait for the glue to dry. You could almost not glue them at all! It makes it a bit harder for me to reposition the impalers arm but I'm pretty sure I'll find a way.

Also, I got notice that my Brets Batalion is on it's way and the GW goblins will also arrive pretty soon.

So, J_Bone, it's all up to you and Pedro to get done with the Slann and complete my "5 new teams" quest for glory!

Well, both teams have been 100% sculpted by Franarcilla, in my opinion one of the best Fantasy Football sculptors worldwide. But no problem at all, Regash. I just wanted to give you some more options, just in case you didn't know about the Meiko Teams. They had not been mentioned along this thread. I wish you can complete your "5 new teams" quest for glory.

Just as you said... In YOUR opinion.
And I'm pretty sure there are many other FF-Fans out there who'll agree with you.
So far, I'd say that about Pedro Ramos, as all I have seen from him made my mouth gape in awe.

But this is fruitless to discuss as it is a matter of taste. And let's be glad everyone has a different taste, so we have this huge variety of teams to choose from.
And, I have to admit, I love to convert teams by myself instead of buying them (See my solution for 4 of the 5 teams!) but some are just to good to be passed on, like the Iron Golems Dwarf team or, judging by what I've seen so far, the upcoming Slann from J_Bone.

I guess what we like from Franarcilla is the dark and realistic look he gives to the miniatures.

He's one of the best Fantasy Football sculptors worldwide, too. No doubt about that. The Meiko Lizardmen Team and the Meiko Ratmen Team have been 100% sculpted by him.

I just found this nice little beast and thought of the bloodthirster.
Unfortunately, it's huge! The base is a 50mm base! (Almost 2 inches!)
But with this color scheme it's absolutely worthy for the Blood God! :o

Before you ask, it's Zuriel from the Legion of Everblight range of Warmachine/Hordes by Privateer Press.

Well, I couldn't warm up my heart for the Impaler, so I ordered a Bouncer too. (All three did cost me less than normal price of two. It's good to have connections! )

This is what I got now. I'm not sure which team they will end in, maybe they'll both gor to my updated Goblins and those original GW Troll will join the converted Chaos Pact and Underworld.

The one on the left is an Axer, the one on the right is the bouncer.
Yeah, I like 'em too and they also have a nice size.

I totally forgot abot this thread...

Here are the pictures of the teams that I put together.

KHORNE

As posted earlier in this thread, I went with the Daemon Chapion, the bloodletters, beastmen and AOS blood reavers.

Image Image Image

BRETONNIA

I went with Twelfmans idea and bought a bretonnian batalions box.
Other than him, I couldn't get myself to use the archers because I didn't like their poses.
I went with men-at-arms bodies only, which wasn't a good idea as many left arms in the box are connected to shields.
I had to transpant archers arms in the end.

Image Image Image

CHAOS PACT

With AOS blood reavers, a standard goblin, a storm vermin and a dark elf, I got this team together quite nicely.
Also a BB-Troll, an Impact!-Minotaur, and a BB-Ogre found their way into the team.
(I have to admit, I'm not really happy with the dark elf but maybe I can substitute him later...)

Image Image Image

UNDERWORLD

Some standard Gobos, all wearing hats, converted storm vermin and an Impact!-Troll fit together nicely for this team.

Image Image Image

SLANN

I'm still waiting for J_Bones Frogs to take over the role of my Slann team.
It's okay, I rather have excellent minis than fast ones.

GOBLINS

As I had postet, I wasn't very happy with my Goblin team either, so I ordered a couple more goblins and converted them too. The Trollbloods fill in for team trolls.
I also had enough parts to build the secret weapons positionals.

Image Image Image Image

This concludes my quest to actually have all teams in miniatures. (Well, as soon as the Slann arrive, of course.)
I hope you like 'em and also I hope I'll get to paint them one day...
