Re: Fanath.art- New human team
I'm just thinking you should add some thickness to the padding. The way things look now; it looks like all padding would be 5mm thick if a real human wore it.
I also think thicker padding would look better on the printed sculpt. It will be easier to paint too.
Shoulder pads are thick enough (maybe a bit too thin on catchers). All other padding needs to be thicker. In real life; padding would consist of metal or leather, with probably cloth or more leather for added protection

They look nice, but i'm not convinced about 3D printing.
I've seen quite a few historical stuff printed and its "not there, yet".
YMMV.

Re: Fanath.art- New human team
I have received the first figure printed, and it is true that I have to touch up the figure to make it look good. Thanks for the tips Brage97

I dont remember what it is called, but artists doing sculptures have for centuries sometimes preferred some idolized proporitions, becouse it looks better than real ones.cornishwoon wrote:Is it me or do the heads look a little small!?

Re: Fanath.art- New human team
the size of the hands and head, is one of the things I have to change.
the proportions of a figure real have to be different from a figure of 30mm, but is easily solved

Yes, the canons (7 heads, 8 heads...), but for miniatures it normally goes the other way, or a completly different way, some brands even go beyond what looks OK (IMO, tastes... etc).theghr wrote:I dont remember what it is called, but artists doing sculptures have for centuries sometimes preferred some idolized proporitions, becouse it looks better than real ones.cornishwoon wrote:Is it me or do the heads look a little small!?
Also you probably have seen people with motorbike helmets. Or American football players. Real padding on top of real skull.
