Cases for Teams - Any ideas?

Post by wn1492 »

Hey Peeps,

I'm looking for several travel cases/storage case for my teams. Ideally a smallish case with spaces for a complete team (16 minis), big guys as well as normal minis.

Thanks in advance

W

I would recommend KR multicase. They have a huge variety of customisable cases, and I really like mine.

I have a Feldherr mini for my teams. It's a soft case with two precut foam trays, that each fit 16 miniatures. It's affordable, and doesn't take up a lot of space. And you can have a tray for each team, and just keep the trays loaded and stored for when you need them.

I use bigger Feldherr cases that hold 32 minis in a layer, 3 or 4 layers in a bag/soft case. Never really had much use for the smaller cases because I normally bring several teams and play against people who do not own teams themselves.

The quality of Feldherr products is good. I use their cases for well over 10 years now. Bought the first case in 2005 and that one now holds 5 of my teams plus sideline figures and big guys

TOs! You do not need multiple copies of rosters. It's a waste of paper.

KR and Feldharr are both good, and a purchase of either will be a good one.
I prefer KR, but rather buy them at wargame shows as their website is a little unwieldy.

I have several Feldherr boxes and I'm happy with them.

I went around and around with mini storage for a long while and think I've hit upon a workable solution that I'm happy with.

When I travel to tourneys or league nights I don't need to carry all my teams or large cases. So, I've gone with cheap APCs from Portable Warfare for all my Blood Bowl and Dreadball minis to reside in while at home. Fancy or expensive hard-shell cases aren't necessary when all they do is sit on my shelf.

For transporting a team I use the Feldherr Mini. I bought one off Amazon where one of the two trays were pull'n'pluck so I could customize it for big guys, banners, etc. The cavities are configured in a generic enough way that any of my teams (BB or DB) plus staff, dice, etc can fit.
