Impact Siringit Scale Shot

Post by Gulix »

I'm currently playing a Norse Team that I made a "Zulu" one. I have great fun with it, and I may play it as a variant next year. Why not Chaos Pact ?

The Siringit big ones of Impact Miniatures would be a great inclusion (Elephant, Hippo, Rhino), but I couldn't find any photo showing their size / scale. Does anyone have that kind of photo or could make one ?
Those miniatures alongside a "classic" one (GW Blood Bowl players, or classic Space Marines) would be great.

Thanks !

Here is my team - the warthogs are about the size of a standard figure, basically. I use them as Nurgle.

On the individual pages for the figures, it lists the height to the 'eyes' of the figure. The Tantor is 30mm to it's eyes.

Thanks ! I did not see that information when looking the miniatures.
Now I'll measure my current team to compare.

I think they also work well as Norse:

Tantor = Snow Troll
Gorillataur = Ulfs
Rhino & Hippo = Bezerkers
Lion & Cheetah = Runners
Mantis + Hyena = Throwers
Cape Buffalo + Warthog + Baboon = Linemen
Lioness + Meerkats = Turn + Re-roll markers

Now that sounds really confusing.
I think I'd rather forfeit the game then continously go like "What was that mini again?"

They were designed to work really well as Chaos Pact, Orc, Chaos Dwarf or Ogre ... outside of those which the figures are actually easy to identify when used that way ... it would probably get confusing.

How so?

The Tantor is massive. Easily distinguishable as a big guy.
The Gorrillataurs are quadrapeds and bigger than a ST3 mini.
The Mantis and Hyena are both holding a football.
The Lion and Cheetah are fast animals and immediately make me think of runners.

Edit: Also, the bases have painted rings to match the positions (i.e. Throwers = White, Bezerkers = Red, etc.)

Rhino + Hippo = Blitzers
Mantis + Hyena = Throwers
Lion + Cheetah + Cape Buffalo + Warthog + Baboon = Linemen
Meerkats = Goblins

We sold the base start for this here: http://www.impactminiatures.com/index.p ... &id=SG_TM3 Needs Cape Buffalo and Meerkats to complete the team
