Kit-bashed Necromantic Werewolves

Post by Ringbeard »

I've recently been getting into kit-bashing & converting Blood Bowl teams, as I prefer playing with plastic minis with weighted bases over metal ones (mainly as I'm clumsy & constantly drop my metal ones, causing them to chip or break).

I'm currently doing a Necromantic team & I thought I'd share how I've done the Werewolves, just in case anyone else wants to do something similar, & for any feedback, criticism or flat out insults.

The parts I used (all Games Workshop) are:
Head - Goblin Wolf Rider armoured wolf heads
Body - Orc torsos
Legs - Skaven clanrat legs
Arms - Orc arms
Hands/claws - 40k Space Wolf Wulfen hands
Shoulder pads - Orc shoulder pads

I've also done some Zombies which were pretty simple (just GW zombies with shoulder pads added), and I'm about to start on the Flesh Golems and Wights. I'm still struggling to find parts to make plastic Mummies with (so I can use the team as Undead too), so if any of you have any suggestions, they're more than welcome.

Looks good Alex.

If I remember rightly when Don Vito did his mummies he got some biggish models and then used green stuff to add bandages

Thanks. Fur is actually deceptively easy to do, you just smear it on and then stab it with a scalpel.
