Spikes and fingers, and slightly less, wrists. If they cast right at such tiny dimensions, they will not last long in the field. (It's like there were only two settings for miniatures, ultraheroic blobs or ultraanime sticks, BTW.) They are game pieces, they should try to work as such.

And while touching sizes... quick maths assuming 25mm bases... ~40mm to top of dual mohawk, ~36 to the eyes for the |__| fingers one? 54mm standard for 2020? :-?

Sorry if it sounds blunt, but tired of those issues.
I get you, mate.

Take for example, the RollJordan amazon team.

It looks great. But I have put 2 teams worth togeather, as prizes for our tourney. And let me tell you, they are a NIGHTMARE! The arms are so thing, and have fun glueing the tings togeather. The fingers are not the problem, the thin, tiny pieces are.

Good luck to Tom at impact! in casting them in resin. I think they are a challenge in metal.

Ah, yes, glueing would be the third issue... but as no split scheme shown and being single pose 3D designs, I would expect good keying, with plugs or even non flat meeting surfaces (think single pose plastic kits), so they would glue easier than some others of the past.

As my league has named me the female mini guy...I guess Ill own it.

Yay...hot chick bloodbowl team!!

Don't let the people who hate female bloodbowl teams get you down. They *really* hate them and are super eager to tell you that your a bad person and your miniatures are garbage. See the sukubus demon team where people actually called each other and the artists terrible names for 10 pages with such encouraging words as
"this team is a waste"
"Absolutly hate them. Shit like this makes me want to quit the game entirely."
"They're rubbish."
and my personal Fave "these models would not be welcome at (insert event here), anyone bringing them would be asked to use a different set of models, failing that, there's the door!

There is a market for these. See aforementioned Sukubus very successful Demon(€9,598), Norse(€16,910) and Dark elf(€19,064) teams on indigogo or RN estudio Revenants vs Ancestrals Teams which has its fair share of the "sexay ladies"

HOWEVER!!!! "constructive" criticism time

Those are some really ripped girls.....with some *really* young faces.... A kids face is very round with a higher forehead and big eyes and as you get older her jawline would strengthen and her head would become a bit longer and angular. I'd suggest maybe trying to age them a bit to get the aesthetic of a girl who does some serious gym time. Cause those legs and abs are serious gym time.

Congrats on giving them good boots with very modest heels

The big girl needs wider shoulders and a slightly larger head.

Be careful that they are not crazy bigger than other miniatures. I love willy miniatures stuff..but the scale is crazy off sometimes and it bothers me.

Good luck on your team, Ill keep an eye for when they get released

I like how you assume that people that dislike *this* team must "hate female teams".

I dislike this team because, despite the obvious skill the sculptor has, it's not that good, with poor posing, poor uniforms and obvious issues, such as the shoulder pads that aren't attached to anything.

When a female team is produced that looks like a bunch of players I'll buy them, but while they're full of models and strippers I'll pass thanks.

Hello Thank you for comments. As I already have him(it) say, the belts of shoulder straps will once be added the cuts made. The lack of garment and wanted to facilitate the putting in paint(painting) (less of temp to paint = more of temp to play).

Which is a strawman. I'm not aware of anyone in any thread saying they hate female blood bowl teams, just that they hate the portrayal of women in this team and similarly expressed sentiments in the others you quoted.

We don't know how well a proper, non-pornified team would fetch on a KickStarter because no-one's tried it - the market is flooded with tits and ass. Do you think that's appealing to everyone? Who cares, you have what you like, so everyone else can go hang, right?

I wouldn't even go that far, I just inwardly groan every time I see a sexy zon team. It's been done to death and would be nice to see something a little different.

Doesn't really help dispel the myth that we are a bunch of sad basement dwellers who start frothing at the mouth at the sight of the female form either.

Seems to me that as much as people around here groan and complain over sexy female teams, and the lack of non-sexy female teams, you would think that SOMEONE would commission a sculpter to create a non-sexy female team, and throw up a crowd funding campaign. It's not like there's any shortage of FF mini sculpters. :)

I didn't say anything about other people "hanging" I told the sculptor to not let people who say "I don't like your product" dictate your actions and provided examples of how it might succeed as well as example of how vitriolic this community can be sometimes towards this type of team. If you feel I've lumped you in..then thats on you.

Regarding the "normal looking player" kickstarter. That would be a interesting social experiment to forever put this argument to rest. However...no one seems to be willing to pony up the money for it.

With notable exception of this team
http://www.comixininos.com/blood-bowl-t ... turas.html
Who are all not at all suggestively posed, look like they are in 7 armor, are not in heels and are muscular enough to crush stone with their hands.

However I don't have any sales number to determine if they are successful/popular or not. Does anyone own this team?

They still all have massive tits though. Poses are more dynamic and realistic and they look bulkier, but still why do they all have massive cartoon tits?

I might be outing myself, but here goes.
I really enjoy my Amazon team. It's roller derby girls from Impact. Example of some of the figures http://www.impactminiatures.com/minis/b ... s_Team.jpg
They do have a lot of skin showing, but they are completely realistic examples of women playing a contact sport. Sure it's not a blood bowl level of violence contact sport, but . . . No disproportionate assets. All sports poses. Knee pads, elbow pads, and helmets is light even for armor 7, but looking at snotlings and halflings I say close enough.
Shave off the wheels and I think it is a great solution to sexy vs realism.

Some people might say I'm part of the problem. I admit in WoW I played a female blood elf for years. If I am going to have a characters backside in front of me, it might as well be attractive.

I can see a problem with nudity/lewdness in some gaming environments. Consider the environment. Short of that, buy and play what you enjoy looking at.

This. And they're basically playing in their underwear. Would you buy a norse team in thongs, knee high boots and torn off vests?

Yes..I kinda did

https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/roll ... football#/

I wanted to buy a male woodelf team dressed as male strippers who oiled themselves up before games and were super uncomfortable to play against it. But the closest I could get were these guys
http://www.starplayershop.com/gb/14-forest-elves

They do pretty good.

See, too many girls as strippers, not enough boys as strippers. The world is indeed a miserable place.

And good find on the norse. I don't like those either. The 'slutty cat' style ears on the blitzers are particularly perplexing.
