Yes... I am very familiar with Travellers ‘database’ and have looked on there numerous times, but I never came across these dudes.

Metal Beastmen w/Claw and Metal Beastmen w/Big Hand Confirmed.

You think 2nd Ed GW WHFB? I’m not too familiar with their minis (WHFB ones that is). They have the same aesthetic of the classic Chaos 3RD ed team though.

Some years ago, their was an individual, in Italy I believe, that converted several models from 3rd edition, made casts of them and then sold them on ebay.

That’s some dark alchemy.... I like it.

I have some spare Skaven mutants (and CW Claw that may be neat) and some Beastmen (although I’m not sure which poses), perhaps I will ‘make some’, because they are indeed pretty neat.

The real dark art is then (re)casting said conversions.

I'd have sworn I had those guys too, but I couldn't find them in any reference anywhere (Travelers' site broken for anyone besides me?).

They mutations are totally stolen from the Skaven mutants, so maybe they are aftermarket things.

Interestingly while searching through old catalogs on web sites, I found this:

http://solegends.com/citcat2005ussc/c20 ... 044-02.htm

A model with the name Zara the Slayer in the GW catalog! I thought she was strictly LRB and never acknowledged by GW. So that was cool.

Many images hosted in other server, and the secure connection to that one failed. It worked days ago. Stupid browser is not giving much useful info about the error, or letting it go "unsecure" as in other cases. We will have to wait. *shrug*

GW did acknowledge stuff when they still had Specialist Games, so even though she was LRB she'd have a catalogue entry.

Must be this or something similar.
The big hand and claw are definately the ones from the 3rd edition skaven mutant blister pack.
