good point but all the figs rock. Griff position not very good to game on with for knock overs, but like them all. Ithilkir "he's just too different from the Hubris Rakarth I remember from 2nd edition". No he has never been a figure before. guess only Redvenom who had a great fig and rubish playing ability is what you remember

I will be buying all of these models over time except for the new elves. I just really don't like any of the elf models but especially the catchers. The roster has done nothing to convience me that I need to buy the team either.

As for the stars I plan on trying to put together a BB Hall of Fame, that has all of the star player minis painted to a high quality for display, Since I rarely if ever play with stars.

What Blood Bowl figures are not lacking in the pose department? I really think that all the figures would look really cool if they could give them good poses. Poses are like 90% of the reason why I think all Citadel stuff sucks.

Seriously, we need less figures standing there posing with their big muscles, and more figures looking like they're actually playing football. However, we don't need any figures being horizontal like the new Griff.

That's true, there never was any miniature of Hubris Rakarth in 2nd edition. So I can't see how you could have another miniature in mind.

I agree that some miniatures could look better, but at least we are getting new miniatures for BB. So why are you all moaning ?

Well to be honest the Elf Catchers, Ogre Cheerleader and Hubris all suck.

In fact i'm in the corner who thinks that the new models have been pretty poor over the last few years.

The Rotters team is good but the figures are too small.

The Elf team is barely average and even the zara fig is too small.

However i will admit the ramtiut figure is pretty awesome.

I think Ramtut is one of the best BB minis ever made. I think khemry team sucks but that mini...

Because some of the new mini's are beneath what we consider Citadels normal standard to be. We are glad Specialist Games is making them but we would prefer same level of quality for all the mini's.
there never was any miniature of Hubris Rakarth in 2nd edition
Im not sure on Hubris but there may have been a mini that was considered to be Hubris that may not have been labled that way. There were several 2nd edition mini's that were always used for specific sp's that were not labled as them by Citadel.

Okay, when you are talking about the generic Dark Elf Blitzers, then you are right. Any of the three available Blitzers could be labled Hubris then.

Please do not misunderstand me, as I also wish that some minis would look better than they do now. Right now I am quite glad that there are coming new minis out to keep this game alife.

The BIG problem I have with Hubris is that he isn't going to fit in with the existing DE team. He looks like a Dark Eldar Wych rather than a BB player...and he is meant to be a blitzer not a Witch Elf...the HE part being a clue.

The werewolf is still way worse. that HEAD....it looks like a weredonkey.

That's true ... Hubris won't fit into the old Dark Elf Line, but to be fair, same could be said about the Jordel Freshbreeze miniature, and no one seems to be bothered about this.

As far as i could tell from the secret weapon dwarves, a new dwarven team with this look would really rock in my opinion ...

That's what I like the most with them. Too small for Chaos Warriors, but then, who plays chaos? :D They'll be perfect for my undead team.

Respect to new figs because- yes they are new miniatures. Every other day I'm stuck on ebay buying old bits (1st ed men £6 each) for lots of additional old figures for new teams. Currently new elf Rotters, vampires all need extra old bits because the range is small. Not a fan of 3rd ed figures much so basically if I want a decent ogre or good elf figures, guess where my bucks are heading. Therefore :D to "some miniatures could look better, but at least we are getting new miniatures for BB" yes Oh YES BABY. New figs rock because they exist.
<br>
Enjoy the smaller style 25mm scale BB because they make your old teams fresh. After 15 years some of my teams need to be updated... respect to new figs that might.
