Strigoi alternatives

I want to model a Vampire team for the 2004 Chaos Cup, and I want it to be based on the Strigoi vampires from Warhammer. Unfortunetly, I hate the models. However, I have seen some really great conversions out there...anyone have any idea on good models to use to create Strigoi's?

The Chaos Cup is a GW tournie, yes? If so, that limits us to GW conversions only...
The Mordheim possessed's body might find use here. The old rat ogres would be nice, but seem out of scale. Sorry, guess this wasn't of much help, was it?

I thought that the new Vampire cheerleader, while not making a very good cheerleader, would make a great Strigoi....
