Painting Shadowforge Bunnies

Post by Leipziger »

Hey,
Just ordered a team of Shadowforge Bunnies (as ersatz Amazons). Any tips on the best flesh colour to use when painting them? I know mixing is an option but I am afflicted by nurgle whenever I get near a paint brush, so the simpler the better.

Thanks

Leip :D :o :-?

Bronzed Flesh would probably do it (or the Vallejo equivalent ideally)Then do a light flesh wash and highlight

I used bronzed flesh as the base coat on my team, followed by a coat of flesh wash. Then I highlighed them up initially using bronzed flesh again and then mixing in more and more elf flesh until I used pure elf flesh on the highlights. Final highlights were a mix of elf flesh and white for the extreme light areas.

I won mine and Grasshopper is painting them up for me. Twas our league championship prize. Can't wait to see how they come out as he is a great painter.

The flesh methods above are what I would go with.

Bronzed Flesh is a little too bronzed...
I painted my Shadowforge team with Elf Flesh, it looks more natural IMO.
