BH stunty and SPPs
Sorry if this has been asked before but I couldn't find it here. If I knock down a stunty player, break the armor and roll 9 for injury, he is badly hurt. Do I get SPPs for casualty? I would say no but want to be sure. Thanks!

Yes! It's still a casualty. Farm those points!

Re: BH stunty and SPPs
IMHO one of the worst decision in the CRP as this rule does not only disadvantage the stunty player (which is ok since he chose the pain) but also boosts his opponent. Seen unwanted effects of this in league environments more than once. Also, in NAF tournament envireonment the race for most CAS can easily be decided by this rule

The CRP rule makes no difference to the number of cas caused compared to LRB4, it just means that they take less SI/Dead than they used to.RoterSternHochdahl wrote:IMHO one of the worst decision in the CRP as this rule does not only disadvantage the stunty player (which is ok since he chose the pain) but also boosts his opponent. CRP is (unmodified 2D6) 9=BH, 10-12=BH/SI/Dead
LRB was +1 to the injury roll, so that 2D6 roll of 9-12=BH/SI/Dead.

Re: BH stunty and SPPs
I did not mean to put the emphasis on CRP in relation to earlier versions. I was referring to CRP/LRB6 as the final and finest point of creation for our game and this particular rule being one of the last flaws ...Darkson wrote:The CRP rule makes no difference to the number of cas caused compared to LRB4, it just means that they take less SI/Dead than they used to.RoterSternHochdahl wrote:IMHO one of the worst decision in the CRP as this rule does not only disadvantage the stunty player (which is ok since he chose the pain) but also boosts his opponent. Well iirc it's been like that since vanilla 3rd ed, so it's hardly a recent change.

Re: BH stunty and SPPs
The rule has been that way since 3rd edition. The CRP change GREATLY reduced the overall impact of the roll of a 9 on the long term viability of a stunty team.
