Why not give the unicorn the ability to kick.
Maybe a -1 on all kicks(passes)
And a Hail Mary Kick(Pass) skill with a -2.
With a unmodified roll of 1 being a Whiff! and the unicorn falls down like being knocked over?

I doubt GW will buy them back.

From what I understand (and I could be mistaken here), the unicorn will live on as a star player. I'm not sure when this will happen.

Worst case scenario?

Either paint it like a zebra and make it the ref or your team has a new coach.
