diving catch on kick off

Post by fire olli »

Hi All,

OK so who catches first.

Ogre vs slann

Ogre to receive, slann get blitz, slann catcher blitzes snotling in back field and snotling side steps under the ball, slann catcher follows up so he is in square next to snotling.

Ball is in the air, who gets to catch first. I said snotling and then slann can have a go. Or would the ball just bounce from the snotling.

Diving Catch only works for empty squares and not for bouncing balls.

The Snot may catch and if he doesn't the ball will bounce

In addition, the player can attempt to catch any pass, kick off or crowd throw-in, but not bouncing ball, that would land in an empty square in one of his tackle zones as if it had landed in his own square without leaving his current square.

The ball is in the air, neither player has the ball.

The snot is under the ball the slann catcher is next to the snot.

If it only works in empty squares then that sorts out that the snot catches the ball.

Right/wrong.

Right, snot attempts to catch ball; even if the snot fails and ball lands in an empty square next to Slann he can't use DC as the ball has BOUNCED there rather than be 'pass, kicked or crowd throw'
