BB2016 Edition - Star Players and their personal apothecarie

Post by celticgriffon »

Hi everyone,

The fluff for Star Players again indicates they have their own personal apothecary who will help them get in shape for the next match, heal almost every injury, and will not use the team's amateur physicians.

If a Star Player gets Badly Hurt or worse are they taken out of the game completely without any recourse to roll for their own personal apothecary? Has there been any update or FAQ on this subject?

The new rules can be found on page 28 of the Death Zone Season I Supplement. Although we could discuss house rules on this subject I would like to get the official GW ruling.

Thanks,
Michael

Assuming the wordings the same as the CRP it just means that a Star is never "dead" so can be used in future league games. It's not an apo in the sense as the team's Apo - there is no roll.

If you Badly Hurt an opposing star ... he is out of the game!

Can you "kill" them to get a zombie or rotter?

TOs! You do not need multiple copies of rosters. It's a waste of paper.

I'm a British Freebooter, will play for any team including Undead (I have my own Apothecary). Good rates.

That was then, this is now.
New "rules" might change things. I've not got the new book to check these things.

Galak has, and he didn't contradict my post of "assuming the wordings the same as the CRP", so the answer must be the same.

For the love of Pete .. this is not a question.

Star Players have their own Apothecary which the rules say is 100% in his use. Stars cannot die ... they have apothecaries ... thus no Rotter or Zombie.

Its not fluff ... it is actually part of the rules (not a Did You Know) that Star Players have 100% successful Apothecaries ... thus no zombie ... no rotter.
