Throw team mate just got better... 7 squares instead of 6 straight forward??

Was he not "centreing" the ruler correctly, as others have said they've measured it (on FB) and found no difference?
Perhaps he used the oversight (which is due to be FAQ'd/errata'd) where the part about using the centre of the square was omitted from the new rules?

Or perhaps the new ruler on an old pitch?
I'd want to check this myself but I dont have the new box.

The quickpass area is reduced but the total range is greater?! What kind of screwy ruler is this? :)

Just checked on my version of the new board and 'New' image is definitely wrong if the range ruler and rules are interpreted correctly.

I didn't check every square but the QP is wrong it is the same as Old and the longest direct diagonal pass is 9 not 10. Suspect the graph shows squares at LB that are not wholly with range ruler, could be a misunderstanding or the literal interpretation of the new head to head rather than square to square wording.

The only way to have the 7th square fully in SP rather than LP is if the Ruler is not centered or you go to the middle of 7th square rather than the full square.

Well that's a relief....cause that would be a pretty huge fundamental change right there.

I return back to my cave

Wow 4700+ pages of new messages since I last logged into Dakka Dakka :(

There's no dedicated Blood Bowl forum so going to take a while to find the thread mentioned in the OP. Anyone got a link, I'd like to read it, incase i get to play someone who wants to use that rule. I can get a head start then to understanding what's what.

Cheers :)
