Argue the Call and bribes

this came up during a game at last weekends tournament (Turncoat @ Belgium)

if you've got a bribe; how does that relate to argue the call? Do you argue the call first, and if not succesfull, then bribe? If your coach get's sent off, can you still bribe?

or do you use the bribe first, and only argue if the bribe fails?

I believe it has been clarified that the coach chooses

so they ruled not to rule  .

Q remains: if you argue first and the coach gets expelled, can you still bribe?

Yep, AtC and bribes are two separate things.

So what about when a number of players are sent off simultaneously? e.g. after a touchdown all goblin secret weapons are sent off. Can I AtC for each Gobbo and then choose to use a bribe once I know which ones have failed or do I need to resolve each player in order and decide whether to use the bribe before moving onto the next player?

No. You would need to ATC for each player being sent off and then choose whether or not to use a bribe, before moving on the next player.

Just like in a fireball situation with multiple casualties you cant roll them all then decide who to use the apoth on.

Do you have rules reference for that, or is that your own opinion?

The fireball-apo thing was interesting...

However, more than 1 player would never be sent off at the same time? Ahh, unless it's after a drive.

Well look at it this way: The apo is spent regardless of the result. AtC is spent if it fails, but is kept if it succeeds?

So imagine you have a line of players who are sent off. The Coach argues the call(s), but can only make an argument for a single player at a time. So you can't really wait to see for which player the argue fails. Once the argue fails, there is no more argues!

What you probably could do is choose the order of players in which to bribe and/or argue (or argue and/or bribe).

One thing is for certain, you can choose to argue and/or bribe and you can argue before or after the bribe. But that was on a single player basis.

Argue the call works when players are sent off the pitch

Bribes are used when players return to the pitch

init!?

Any time a player is sent off for committing a foul or using a Secret Weapon, you can ‘Argue the call’.

Bribes are also used when a player is sent off.
If they were not, then a player caught fouling would not stay on the pitch on a succesful bribe.

Yeah your right, i'm thinking about when a Player is KO'd who also has a secret weapon

Wait...

No i'm wrong on this as well, you roll it before to see if he goes in the dungeon or the KO box, right?
