Mighty Blow on a Skull??

Post by tchatter »

If I blitz or block a player that has mighty blow and I roll a skull. Does that players Mighty Blow get added into my AV/Inj roll??

My ruling is no.

But it isn't crystal clear in the rulebook, as it says that it is used on any AV/Inj roll that is caused by a block.

Thoughts??

Yes you can; you can't use Piling on (the description for Piling on clearly states you can't) but you can use Mighty Blow when you are blocked.
It is an "Armour roll caused by a Block"

You can indeed. Since you block your MB-opponent, he blocks you in return so he can add his MB-skill to your AV/INJ-roll. A 'block' or 'blitz' always involve 2 opposing players or more (multiple block).

Yep...don't forget that Claw and Razor Sharp Fangs still work in the same situation as well.

Hmmmm... well, that changes things.

All this time when people block my Trolls and fall down, I haven't had MB applied...

Thanks for clearing that up...

The only mod skill u cant use in that situation is Pile on, the description of it says can only be used when u initiate the block.

Yeah, Piling On is the only skill you can not use to modify the rolls in this situation.
