Inducements for semi-final playoff match

Post by natsirtm »

Heading into probably my toughest match of the season, vs a very skilled human team with a huge TV difference over my undead team.

I should have over 400k for inducements - it could be even higher but I'm just not sure how up to date his roster is (on our league site he's listed at 1840 TV.

Really just need to go for the win here, I could see using any extra inducement cash for babes, but probably not bribes, rerolls or igor.

I'm thinking either;
* 2 x 200k cards
* 1 x 400k card
* Count Luthor
* Ramtut
and depending on actual inducement amount, maybe Hack n Slash.

Right now I'm leaning towards Luthor too add some speed and agility to my team vs. his passing game. Thoughts? Convince me otherwise?

TIA

Really meh on wizards. Especially vs a passing team that can score plenty. Rare for chance at a "good" fireball against a non-bash team and lightning could stop 1 score or enable me to score once. Yes it could be a game saver but with his stacked roster I am looking for something more like a game winner.

Babes are definitely on the list to get with any spare $$

They are not all that scary. So they have some skilled players. So what? You have all the skills you need to win.

Take the Wiz, a babe or two, and drop the rest on cards.

Those 2 catchers are begging to be taken out with Sinnedbad. also, he only has sure hands on the throwers, so if he is premature with moving the ball (ie. pick it up on the first turn of his drive and pass it to a catcher), then Setekh would make a nice addition with Juggernaut, Break Takle and Strip Ball. You'd have to know a little about his play style.

Take the two catchers out of the game early and he will struggle a bit to score. Also, with only 2 stand firm players and no side step, crowd pushes with the Fernzy Wight are a must.

Most of the league have been hurt by my crowd pushes before, I think I would need to be pretty lucky for him to make that kind of mistake again.

Sinnedbad and Setekh are good suggestions, he usually cages though until he can pull off the TD in the same turn, so would probably go Sinnedbad over Setekh. Bonus is Sinnedbad is damn cheap! Can probably squeeze him in along with another star player. Thanks for the post.

I find wizards are game winners, creating a turnover oportunity and switching what would probably be a score for him into a score for you is almost worth 2 TDs. 1st choice for me bar none.

Watch out: Sinnedbad is so cheap because he's a "Secret Weapon" :-?
One drive, and it's gone.

PS: that MA8 Thrower is nasty...

Are stars even allowed as its a semi final match? If so I'd hands down go Setekh (220k, strip ball vs catchers, ST4, break tackle). Then the wizard + babe. His team isnt really scary for 1800k+. Nice thrower though.
