Thralls are good value at 40k. +ST is great value on a ST player that can get block, so it follows - bite victim or not, that he is a useful piece. A non-bloodlust blitzer that can waltz past a hypnotized cage corner and lay two dice on most ball carriers for`less than 100k would be too good to pass up IMO.

St on all teams and at any stage. Only a st1 player does not get the boost

Re: Rookie Zombie rolls 6+6
In both cases I chose Block instead of the S4 on my Thralls and it worked out perfectly. Many Both Downs were rolled and the lack of TV bloat meant my opponent couldn't afford to induce Ripper, who would have murdered me.
For 90k I'm used to better MA and AV and also S access. :p

This situation has never happened to me, but I might take Guard ahead of +ST on a Rotter. Well, at least I would think hard about it.
All the best.

I'd take the ST over Guard so that Rotter can do some hitting before he gets hit. Tnen the Claw, Block killstack. Sure, he will get destroyed but he should recruit some more Rotters before he does!Smeborg wrote:This situation has never happened to me, but I might take Guard ahead of +ST on a Rotter. Back on topic - I like the ST on a Thrall for the reasons described above. Vamps can Gaze a cage corner and you want one to grab the spilled ball but you might not have another Vamp to do the blitz. Mr. 4ST Thrall can fill in there nicely! And if he gets a second double, then the possibilities expand terrifically!

Re: Rookie Zombie rolls 6+6
I'd definitely take +ST on a Rotter. Six ST4+ guys, plus four Horns!
Re the Thrall, the way I see it is this:
3 Vamps to take the field all the time
1 Vamp on offense
1 Vamp on defense
5+ rookie or Wrestle or DP Thralls ("dinner")
≤4 Thralls with good stuff ("dessert")
