As title. How do you setup your gobbos for offence/defence and what inducements do you use? (apart from bribes ofc)

Doesn't matter. You have already lost.

That's the short answer. Long one is protect the weapons

Personally I use Fanatics on offence, preferably both of them and try to kick the shit out of the other team. Trying to get the Trolls with 3d blocks to push wayward opponents into the Fanatics path.

On defence I use the Chainsaw, mostly as a deterrant rather than him getting stuck in and try hold the opponent up. Kind of form a cage round him! The trolls dont start on the LOS as if one is lost, the game is very difficult to recover.

When I go to hell and am punished for all eternity, I shall use the bomber. But not until then :-P And he shall be on the LOS.

I find the most important things to play goblins, is to have good dice all game, and receive first grinding out an 8 turn drive that removes a tasty chunk of the opposition.

I found listenting to Episode 7 of the Orca Cola Cast was full of good advice on Gobbos:

Apart from that: what Heff and Itchen Masack say!
My advice: go have fun! Chuck Goblins wildly through the air (preferably into your opponents cage), make crazy dodges, foul like there is no tomorrow, set up 12 guys (no punishing rule against that!)!!! :orc: :orc: :orc:

You've done that to me at Crumb Bowl, but without scoring first half after somehow backing all your goblins into the same corner surrounded by my only 4 remaining chaos players  (I claim no skill in the number of blocks I got on the ballcarrier in the one turn :P )

The podcast about goblins were actually rather useful. Thanks for that tip.

But the deployment issue still remains. Any tips on that?

Have you read this... http://www.plasmoids.dk/bbowl/playbooks ... 0Book2.pdf
and this... https://fumbbl.com/help:LRB6RaceStrategy
and this... https://www.dropbox.com/sh/tg5xdj41zpuo ... k.pdf?dl=0
There are a few playbooks out there with different quality of content.
- By the way: thanks to you people providing those playbooks or sharing them in one place! Awesome job! -

I hope you find what you are looking for in those.
Apart from that, whenever I can, I induce Ripper! If that can't be done, look at you opponent. Is he bash heavy and caging? Induce a wizard. Is he playing fragile elves? Induce Nobbla Blackwart or Fungus the Loon. Or pimp your own luck and buy a Re Roll...

hehe sorry but I cant remember the game. My apologies.

All i recall from Crumb was the dwarf team in Match 1 that fouled my goblins for 15 turns and rolled only 1 double (which he had a bribe for)! It wasnt 16 fouls cause he needed to score at the end lol
