Inducements for Chaos Dwarves
I´ll have a match versus Pro Elves, and I can´t make up my mind how to spend my 210k on inducements. I got 2 bulls, 6 blocker (one with claw, one with guard) and 3 hobs (one sure hands). My opponent has 12 players, 2 of them got +ST.
The list of star players for CD is not so impressive, either very expensive or with secret weapon (meaning they could probably be off the pitch after only 2 or 3 turns), leaving only Rashnak Backstabber for 200k. Is he worth it ? Stab could be quite nice plus no secreet weapon, so I´ll have 12 players all the time until the first KO or Cas.
On the other hand mercenaries are just expensive hobgoblins - 70k, AV7, no skills, loner...
I´d appreciate any suggestions !

If you don't go for wizard and babe, I would take 2 of these guys.
Teams with no players score no touchdowns.

They'd be 120k each, Rolex (40+30+50).
Wiz and babe are both meh in this match. Id prefer either a reroll and two dirty tricks, or induce a minotaur.
Three merc hobs isn't terrible, though. Gives you a ready stock of foulers at least.

Re: Inducements for Chaos Dwarves
I wouldn't want a Mino against Elves.
It is too easy for them to run away from him and leave him to WA in the corner.
I'd either take a bribe and some rookie Hobs, or a DP Hob.

Rashnak is excellent in this sort of situation.
I have used Rashnak numerous times against AV7 teams (when I was running all-Hobgoblin teams, but that does not matter).
So I would recommend giving Rashnak a try.
Hope that helps.

AV7 blodge teams are designed for stabbers...
Does he have many blodgers? It is him, babe and wizard or 2 bribes I reckon.

Rashnak sucks. Wiz + dirty trick (babes if on cyanide).

Re: Inducements for Chaos Dwarves
I do agree with Rashnak Backstabber as I have seen how effective fouling can be on AV7.
Stab is basically a free risk foul action on a standing player! Sure you can't get assists but against AV7 you don't really need any as you're not risking anything but ending that player's activation.
So you move up to the catcher you want marked or downed and you stab him for free.
Side-step makes him not even half a bad marker, sure he lacks block but Dodge also goes a long way.
I don't see any other reason than fluff why they gave him Sneaky Git, even if I can organize a nice grouphug foul, I would rather foul with a rookie Hobgob.
Because we know that grouphugs aren't sneaky
BTW, as a Elves player myself I would love to see my opponent to give me all that free space on the pitch to run through and pick my angle to attack his line.
So I can't imagine a world where 2x bribe or DP might be more effective.
Heck, I even recall two games were a stab player CASed a Troll! And you might think that is unlikely but if Blood Bowl thought me anything then that would be "if they is a chance it can happen, it will happen. It is your choice to prepare for it or not".
With stab you don't have the negative impact of random luck, only the positive. Unless that Troll MB's you off the pitch more quickly. But the troll needs 2 successive rolls before he gets to armour rolling. And without block the 2 dice block on a loner is hurt badly by double both down and/or skull (which is 11,1%).
