Stopping the 1TTD

I have an important match coming up with my Nurgle:

against a HE team:

If he wins he'll get the best record overall (due to tie breakers) and a first round bye in the playoffs, if I win or tie I do.

One concern I have is his capability to score a 1TTD on T8 or T16 given the possibility, and I was interested in the best way to stop him from doing so. I have no SF or SS. I do have disturbing presence, but I also have to be cautious as leaving a valuable player on the line especially a T8 might yield a good foul on his part.

Note that one of his catchers is AG6...He would need three pushes and a couple of GFI, but I don't see that as an impossibility...

Thoughts?

Kick to him, if possible...

Interlocking zones of disturbing presence.... Make the Timmy Cheeseballer sweat a little....

Look for opportunities to down that prissy catcher and stick the boot in deep, or push him into the BoN's tackle zones....

One Turner highly unlikely....

The more dice you make him roll, the better....

Lol could his team be any more injured!? Ma8 without SS isn't too easy to score with, just put some guys close to the line to make it hard for him to get the pushes.

Kick short and have a double line behind the LoS though those high elves are far from the most 1ttd generating team I've seen I was expecting to see a roster like this one which is built to hit a 0TTD every drive. http://bbm.jcmag.fr/BloodBowlManager.We ... 02&lang=en

In fact playing Nurgle against elves you will always want to kick it short because it forces them to play the ball rather than hole up in there back field or risk being harassed by your players without it having to cost you your positioning/formation.

Ended up tying the match 1-1 which is what I needed. He received and I forced him to score on his T7. I equalized on my T8 with a passing play. Which might have been my only successful pass of the season that wasn't just a "earn 1 SPP at the end of a half". :)

He got the player number advantage in the second half, and I spent my time desperately just holding onto the ball.

So anyway, no 1TTD opportunities for him anyway!
