Pestigor Question
A Block, Frenzy, +MA on my Nurgle team earned a skill and got doubles...now I am trying to decide what to take. My team
http://bbm.jcmag.fr/BloodBowlManager.We ... 33&lang=en
My division so far is Chaos Dwarf, another Nurgle, Norse, with one more team to pick.
I have a killer and a killer in training. I have another pestigor who generally carries the ball (blodge, +ST, tackle)...though this pestigor is important on offense because of +ma.
There are some good agility skills...and I suppose Leader if I want to take the doubles. And some good regular skills if I want to ignore the roll.
I don't end up on the sideline that often - Nurgle tend to be slow to get to a side but it does happen and either SS or SF do go nicely with Frenzy...
What do you think?

Why not dodge? I'm curious.

Re: Pestigor Question
Do you find him on the side lines a lot, after surfing your opponent? Consider Stand Firm or Side Step.

TOs! You do not need multiple copies of rosters. It's a waste of paper.

Dodge is certainly an option. But there are just so many great skills to take with a Pesty on even a normal roll. Add a doubles and well...there are so many good choices...Shteve0 wrote:Why not dodge? I'm curious.

Re: Pestigor Question
Actually I would change my vote to dodge- looking at the roster you already have quite a bit and overwealming the oppo with it must be fun.

I've never managed to pull off a non-TTM 1TTD. And I've played a lot of BB.Chris wrote:Side-step and practice your 1ttds

Re: Pestigor Question
Sprint would be better for 1-turn TDs, but Sure Feet would be of greater practical value if you want to emphasise his "speed".

Re: Pestigor Question
I can't see myself taking a skill like sprint or sure feet to be honest. When you need them they are great but...you won't need them that often.Smeborg wrote:Sprint would be better for 1-turn TDs, but Sure Feet would be of greater practical value if you want to emphasise his "speed".

a blodging, +ST ball carrier...with horns...is is nice asset. As is a blodging, +ST Nurgle Warrior.Chris wrote:Actually I would change my vote to dodge- looking at the roster you already have quite a bit and overwealming the oppo with it must be fun.

Re: Pestigor Question
I went with dodge as suggested by the majority. In my first game of the season my opponent didn't have any tackle...and this player carried the ball for most of the first half. It probably stopped my opponent from scoring (he got a blitz) and therefore won me the match.
Thanks guys.

Re: Pestigor Question
I'd lean towards Juggernaught, so you can more easily crowd push or blitz down wrestlers by taking both down. Also stops him adding to TV bloat as much as a double would.
