So a Pestigor rolls....

Post by swilhelm73 »

a 9...when I really need a stat. :)

He is +ST, Block, Dodge, Tackle, Niggle

I'm conflicted on the choice as my +MV, Blodge pestigor has been carrying the ball more so I'm not sure that SH, EA, or Big Hand would be optimal. With the Niggle, I don't use this guy quite as aggressively as I otherwise might. He does make a darn good safety though - but all my pestigors are...

My team:

I'm 4-0-0 and my next week's opponent is also 4-0-0 so it is an important match he is chaos dwarves:

He's loaded up on guard, MB, and claw so the match isn't going to be a finesse one most likely...

The rest of my division is Nurgle, Norse, Skaven, Necro. I'll play the Chaos Dwarves in week 5, then everyone again once.

So what are your thoughts?

If you want to scare Dwarves it is another claw.

This.

If you really, really don't want to do that (+S is nice), I suggest Frenzy for surfing or plain old MB for general killiness.

I took MB, but he ended up getting killed by a foul in the match. :o

The game got off to a rough start with 4 of my players off the pitch before my turn 2 started: thrown rock KOs PO pestie, block KOs warrior, blitz KOs another warrior, foul injurie BoN.

Somehow I did pull off the tie though and the St4 pestie did manage to injure one of his BCs thanks to MB (before dying).

I am unclear why a few people are suggesting that in a league having a niggle on a well developed pestie would mean cutting him.

Don't know.... Perhaps because it is 17% easier to be a man down once Armour is broken? Personally I wouldn't advise cutting him....

Tangentially, I have a double niggled goblin, on a cash strapped Underworld team, that refuses to die.... Invulnerable armor 7! :P

Come to FUMBBL, play in the Box, see how long your niggled Goblins will survive to the brunt of pomb  .

Because he's easily removed from the pitch and because you don't want to waste SPPs and MVPs on such a fragile player.
