Is an Agility 6 Gutter Runner worth it?

Post by Aliboon »

Hi, I've just rolled another AG increase for my wrestle, horns gutter runner and I was wondering what to get. I've got a couple of wrestle, horns, strip ball grunners (one with leap). The other grunner has block and surehands.

Ordinarily I would have got him leap, for some 2+ leaps, but should I take the AG instead? I don't think it will help with passing, but will for dodging through traffic and picking up the ball in TZs, which is what I tend to use him for.

Is the AG6 worth the TV over leap (or another skill)?

Yes, for the reasons you state. Getting the ball away from the cage will be far easier with him there to clear up after the mess your leap/horns/wrestle/strip one makes.

AG6 basically ignores the first two tackle zones for picking up the ball (and dodging). He'll be great at retrieving a loose ball. Does your league have a bounty system? As I expoect him to die soon ;)

TOs! You do not need multiple copies of rosters. It's a waste of paper.

So YES. AG6 isn't the same as leap but let's you dodge through most screens on 2+ and you have the skill re-roll and all the above of course.

Be prepared to see him fouled because I would at the first chance I get :smoking:

AG it is. 2+ leaps are nice, but you can only do that once a turn (and I suppose even dodging into 3 TZs will be a 3+ anyway). I've never had an AG6 player before, I had a AG4 slayer once, but he died...

I'm sure he'll be a target (he was already tbh), but the APO will pretty much be reserved for him!

with Ag6 no need to leap almost anymore to hunter the ball carrier :)

wrestle/horn/ag6 that's great!
after your blitz, you might continue the mouvement of that gutter into the cage, even if he is in the middle of the cage

and having 2 ball hunter, it's great!

Double stat freaks are cool and give you the chance to get even more stats down the line for a really unique player.

You can always take leap next.
