Going into the last game of our league campaign before the playoffs with my HElves, im in with a shout needing just a point to finish in the top 4.

Played a 'friendly' last night as the next game is in a couple' weeks time so wanted to keep the ring rust away...

Skilled a Lineman up with a Double 1, just thought id ask the community for their opinions on what I should take, see if there's anything ive not considered myself, my next opponent (and playoff rival) is a Block heavy Necromantic team.

This is me -

Thrower - Pass / Safe-throw / Accurate / AG5
Lineman - Guard
Lineman -
Lineman - ## (skill TBC)
Lineman - Block
Lineman - Block
Blitzer - Block / NI
Blitzer - Block / Dodge / -1AV
Catcher - Catch
Catcher - Catch / Block
Catcher - Catch / Dodge / Sure-feet

3 RR
6 FF

Cheers

2nd guard wouldn't go amiss.

Do you find you need 3 rerolls? I'd be tempted to let one go to reduce your TV a bit.

Guard was my first train of thought too, though id also considered Leader as the amount of 1s I roll with this team is ridiculous!

Guard is nice, especially on line-elves.

Rebuy your blitzers, atleast in the redraft!

Grab for lineelf: too make oneturn scores easier

Sure about those blitzers, those are nasty injuries. But isn't there a chance for the niggling to go away at the end of the season?

Grab would be nice if he had sprint instead of sure feet on the catcher. Now without frenzy isn't the OTTD a bit more complicated to pull off, even with grab? Maybe I should read up on OTTD again to get that straight.

I would go with guard, elves start to shine with 2+ guard pieces as they are so mobile you can put pressure just where you need it. So yes I can understand that you will need the 3 TRR for now but learn to plan your turn so you don't have to use that TRR, dodge a player away near the end of the turn shouldn't eat up a TRR, unless you are left with a gap otherwise.
You are going to fail 1/6 dodges, plan accordingly.
