We have different rules then that Galak.

We like to keep things complicated. :grin:
Ergo, Too many players objected to abandoning the cards, so we switched to a compromise. He who plays at home choses if he wants to draw cards or use the random events table. So, some players now chose the table and others the cards.

We have many more compromises, but it seems to keep everybody happy.

I hate the cards (for the record) but I never use them at home anyway. If I wait a game I could lose all 150,000 in my next away game (OK, I'd have to be unlucky, but it has happened before)...

I'm tempted by the Alchemist, but if he leaves my team I will be very very :pissed:

All players hate that. But me as an undead coach have few problems with it. I think you're overreacting :grin:
Anyways, You'll never get "a better offer" then lending me 20.000 :razz:

Think on that :wink:

You guys have all missed out on the obvious solution. Let's get back to your team, shall we?

* 8 long beards
* 2 runners
* 1 Slayer
* 1 Ogre

You certainly have a Head Coach, and you probably have an Apothecary as well. That's 14 "players" for your team.

Take the 150,000 and buy 15 Cheerleaders. Assuming the Ogre is "man enough" to handle two of them, that leaves you with an organization of 14 very "happy staffers"! This is even better than buying re-rolls, because they'll be on such a cloud that they'll never fail another die roll, ever again.

This "service" message brought to you by,

Ok, ok, seriously!

Buy another Slayer and a Norse Lineman, who has good MA and AG for your team and can act as a quasi-receiver or "agile guy" in a pinch. Alternately, buy a Slayer or Blitzer and buy another one or two immediately after your next game.

P.S. Think long and hard about that Cheerleader suggestion, though.

:lol:

I already have two overworked cheerleaders (Titty McVittie and Feely McNeilly) though I'm still thinking on the subject. My fear is a lack of AG3 players going forward. At least a blitzer I could use as a catcher, seeing as one of my runners has pass.

Still confused on this one...

Be sure of one thing: If I play against a dwarf team with onenorse player... I'll try to kill it. After having rolled against lot's of Av 9 rolling av7 could be really nice, and better if you think that is one of the players with higher ag on the op. team.
I'll choose other kind of players.
Or the Cheerleaders... sluuuurps.
