Well when it's here anyway (human).
Blitzer, Nothing
Blitzer, M9 and soon shadowing
Blitzer, Guard (this is the one I must have posted about).
Thrower, Accurate soon some other skill (advice?)
Catcher, Sidestep, sure hands.
Lineman, nothing
Lineman, Block

Lineman, Block
Lineman, Nothing
Blitzer (2SPPs from a new skill, any advice?)
Norse Lineman (we are allowed 4 allied players) with leader.
Ogre,
Werewolf (different from the Necro versions. This one is like a human with S4 A2 Frenzy and Razor sharp claws).
Vampire (human with AV9 S4 Dodge, reg and hypnotic gaze).

I know guard is a great skill, but I prefer it on linemen. On my Blitzer it just seems to get him stuck in the thickest when I want to use his manouverability.
I have been thinking of tackle or strip ball but those are mostly useful our on the flanks where the players with dodge moves around.

since he's getting stuck in now anyway, you might as well profit from that and give him MB, tackle or even PO...

well, but it takes doubles to give it to a lineman. I'm not arguing with you, just saying that you can't count on that, it's somethign to keep in mind.Taffsadar wrote:I know guard is a great skill, but I prefer it on linemen. i'd take tackle as well. it's useful everywhere, there are plenty of teams that have lots of dodge. the more tackle you have the better.Taffsadar wrote:I have been thinking of tackle or strip ball but those are mostly useful our on the flanks where the players with dodge moves around.

Not to mention that having it on a blitzer can allow a nearby lineman to remove tz's from the blitzer so he can blitz even tho he started the turn next to an opponent.
