I always take a thrower when i start a skaven team. I fond that it is just gives you more options on offence. Instead of just running the ball in everytime with the gutter runners you can have a passing play option as well. Remembering that gutter runners make excelent catchers at AG4.

You do know that for the price of your rat ogre, you could start with 2 extra rerolls and a FF, or 1 more reroll, 1 apoth and 2 FF... I would never start with a rat ogre.

I would definately buy a thrower in your team:

I use also 2 gutters

then I can send them both out forward, they can only kick one down so there always will be atleast one runner left to throw the ball to and when you have a thrower he could get throwing skill/thraits and thats just what you want !! accurate rocks !! :lol: :lol:

I agree with taking a thrower...

With a bit of imagination, he can become a real suprise element, turn him into a runner (MA 7 really helps) with dump-off, and have the gutter runners scampering around (can give them more useful dauntless/horns combo, etc... rather than catch/V.L.Legs...) within distance, you'll soon have your opponent running around worrying who he should block, frustration central...

Summary: Don't underestimate MA7 and a bit of imagination!
