New Dark Elf Team

Post by BlanchPrez »

Hey all,

I am working on a new Dark Elf team, and I wanted to things from you all. First, check out my initial roster idea, and let me know what you think.

Linemen x8
Thrower
Blitzer x2
RR 2
FF 5

I'm tempted to toss the thrower or one of the blitzers in favor of higher FF and/or another RR.

And the second thing I want is ideas for a team name. The figures I am going to be using are 40K Dark Eldar's, so keep that in mind when naming the team.

Thanks!

Chris

I would drop the thrower, make him the 2nd purchase (behind the apoth). As for a name; Cabal of the 16 deaths.

Okay, so:

Lineman x9
Blitzer x2
RR x2
FF x7

Wrong forum for this thread, it should be in Tactics and Team Development.

You are probably right...

Can this be moved? Or should I just go re-post it?

(All comments below should be prefaced by the warning that I am completely pissed at the moment.)

It can be moved, and one of the moderators will probably do so when they read your comments.

If in a long term league, I'd ditch the second blitzer for another reroll and added fan factor. You can replace the niggled and gimped linemen with positional players and become a force 10-15 games down the road.

The Runaway leader in werewolf lynchings. Now with a suggested 28.57% more lynchability than the leading competitor.

Hi, I recently started a dark elf team and also asked for assistance.
I went for the classic:
2 Blitzers
9 Linemen
2 RR
7 FF

I do not regret it a second. I already bought my apo after game 1 and next game I'll go or my first additionnal player, a witch (I do not go for a blitzer as 2 lineman already have block and the thrower can wait some more IMHO).

Good name for a DE team

I also went for the 9 Line 2 Blitzers 2 RR 7 FF route. Worked fairly well until my team hit the brick wall of a Chaos Dwarf team known as Creeping Death. That was all in the dice though...won 3-1, but 4 SI and 2 deaths pretty much sealed my fate for the next few games heh.

Funny, funny, funny!!

I think I'm going to stick with the Bloodhawks, though... I like the idea of a red and black colour scheme. :)
