Java league

Would anyone be interested in doing a Java League along the lines of MBBL? We could use Fumbbl's proxy server but just use our own HTML files for the games.

I'd run it and post the additional teams avail. like nippon, araby, some sort of chaos extras, bretonnian, etc.

We'd use the TBB league chat room as our meeting place. It obvioulsy wouldn't be as easy as fumbbl. but with some work it'd be ok I think.

I'd be interested in that. I like the idea of testing out some additional teams. We could, perhaps, experiment with rules etc. also. I dont have any technical expertise but I'd be willing to help out in whatever way I could.

sounds great! I always wanted to give some of the MBBl races a go but was afraid about using the PBEM tool!

Can FUMBBL take account of all the extra skils (half the fun of the MBBL2 imo).

yeah, none of the new skills work so they'd just be tweaks with existing skills. let me think how I can set this up.

i'd certainly be interested in participating, although it's looking like a while off before i can get into it. if it's like an open league then count me in. scheduled i may have some problems certainly for the time being.

I'd suggest you use direct connect instead of the FUMBBL proxy, both from the POV of lightening the load on that proxy, and improving the reliability of connection. You can always host your own proxy server - download it from SkiJunkie's website, or one of its mirrors.
