Gore Grail VI

Now as I won the Gore Grail V. I heard it is my part ot open the Gore Grail VI and I wanted to give it a try.

I would like to use the same rules set as for Gore Grail V.

Here are the rules from the Gore Grail V:
Coaches can field a team with a TV of no more than 120. So this means you can "buy" skills for your players to start with, or leave money in the treasury with which to buy Inducements. No more than one skill per player, and no more than one doubles skill per team. No stat increases would be allowed at all. There would be no skill progression between games.

Everyone PMs me the team they want to use (in secret). If they are the only person to request that team then they can use it. But if 2 or more coaches ask to use the same team, then all of them would instead use a random team instead (unused teams come out of the hat first). I will randomize my team anyway.

LRB 5
no cards
10 points for a victory
5 points for a tie
0 points for a loss

up to 4 points for TD or blocking cas (no fouls or crowd pushes)

Games will be played in a group system, the exact details of which would be decided when we know how many coaches we have. But at least I would like to have 8 players. Lets have a nice tourny. After the group phase is over we are starting a double KO system so that every player gets secound chance when they have bad dices.

Awesome, looking forward to it. Hopefully I haven't out-smarted myself with my crafty roster choice.

BTW, I think the consensus from last Gore Grail was that a double elimination Group Phase might be a good change.

Perhaps we can also consider a loser's cup (best of the non-qualifiers) to keep those of us who get Nuffled in the group phase entertained

I take it that if there is no skill progression, then there are no winnings or injuries worse than BH as well?

Yup, teams are magically reset for each game. During the group phase, you can play all your matches at the same time.

So as it seems we have 6 people playing this is enough for now. I wanted 8 but I'm fine with 6. So I need only the teams from Ziggi and from Levinas.

As soon as I have those I will put together the groups.

Hi members of teh GoreGrail VI,

I had to randomize two more coaches not only Tom and myself because Ziggi and Warpstone chose the same team. So here are the groups:

Group 1
Tom plays Orcs
Ziggi plays Dwarfs
Warpstone plays Amazon

Group 2
Aliboon plays dwarfs
Dendron plays Necros
Levinas play Ogres

Post your teams as soon you have them ready. I would like to use double KO system but I don't know haw to proceed with only 6 teams. I wil clarify before we begin.

Passing up the chance of six ogres (mainly because I need to practice for a TR110 tournament) I'll go:

5 Ogres = 700,000
9 Snotlings = 180,000
3 RR = 210,000
3 Ogres with Guard = 40,000
1 Ogre with Break tackle = 20,000
1 Ogre with Block = 30,000

Hope that's right.

(Edited as I can't find Strong arm on the team creator)

2* Runner + block = 200kgp
2* Blitzer = 160kgp
2* Troll Slayer = 180kgp
5* Blocker + guard = 450kgp
4*TRR = 160kgp
1*Apo=50 kgp
=> Sum = 1200 = TV120
