You can "buy" skills for your players to start with, or leave money in the treasury with which to buy Inducements
NO INDUCEMENTS
No more than one skill per player, and no more than one doubles skill per team.
No stat increases would be allowed at all.
No skill progression between games.
Games are played in two groups. After the group phase is over we'll have a single elimination tourney with group winners and 1st runners up.
Please make your rosters everyone and post them to me. Otherwise you are free to kick off...
Easiest way will be to make a basic roster (minus the money you want to spend on skills), load that roster up into the tool, click post-game, right click the player you want to give a skill to and add it to the right-hand skill box, then open the roster, adjust the treasury, save the new roster and use that one to start the games properly.
I've no idea why the TeamCreator doesn't like to add skills in conjunction with the LRB5 PBeM tool, as it works fine under the LRB4 version, but I have the same problem.

Or if you have some experience with HTML, you can open your team roster with an editor of your choice and change those skills/player values manually.
I have a question: Now that we have those groups, shouldn't we have some kind of match schedule ? Since I haven't played GG before, I need some details about the group phase. How many games ? Sequence of games ?
All 3 games simultaneously (if I remember from my early GGs).
Basically, it's as if your were playing games 1, 2 and 3 at a tabletop tournament all at the same time.

I'll get to my team tomorrow evening, and will send it on.
