Problems with Cyanide DE graphics any help please

Post by TheDoc »

Hi,

I recently got a new PC to put BB on. It has all the right specs and should play the game like a dream. However, there is a problem. When I load up the game the sound has an echo and the graphics are not as they should be. The 3D figures of the players is not in the animated but in a static pose normally in a crucifix form. The colours are not full and shaded but like a base coat of paint. The game obviously realises that the player is who they are as the figure changes from type to type but is still in this basic model set up.

Any suggestions to how I can get the game running properly?

Ade

Windows 7 by any chance?

If so, iirc you need to run it in XP compatibility mode.
More details (and more help I expect) can be found on the Cyanide forum, as this has been reported a few times.

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.
