So apparently

Be it FUMBBL, PBeM, the Cyanide Computer Game, VASSAL or whatever - talk about online play here.

This is also the place for discussing the various tools for managing leagues, teams and so on.

So apparently

Post by Thadrin »

Absuing someone on FUMBBL via choice of player name and picture is acceptable as long as the person being abused doesn't know about it!

Who knew?

well, how are the admins supposed to know that it's abusive to the player in question without being informed?

because I told them. I was told "it's not your problem. If he doesn't complain we'll allow it."'

Apparently objecting to see your friends being abused isn't enough.

Nice way to twist words... What actually said was that if the coach on the picture does not complain, we allow it.
As you claimed to be a close friend of him, why whine here and not just send him a PM to let him complain about it?

What I want to know is why there is a constant head butting between TFF users and FUMBBL members.

I am both.

I say we stage a tournament between the two and settle it. :D

heh, I don't think it is actually TFF, just some users that post on fumbbl forums without fumbbl experience (and those users have a big name here)

I wonder if Woodstock means me?
After all, I've only been a member of Fumbbl since it began (near enough).
Probably not though. Can't remember the last time I posted on the FUMBBL forums.
I actually like FUMBBL now that the rules are near enough up to date.
There are as many people I have a lower opinion of there as there are here. Such is the nature of online communities.
