Entertaining - especially if you consider the current chaos team is basically a khorne team.

Stupid stupid STUPID IDEA

May have a new focus for my unreasonable rage.

Given GW tradition they will be broken on arrival

7449 Stand Firm, Block Frenzy linemen anybody? with GSA development, for 40k

Alternatively they will have a "Fun Rule" that make them unplayable!

wankles

If you cannot stall out for an 8 turn drive to score with dwarves then you need to go and play canasta with your dad..if you can find him.

Clearly they are a bunch of rotary engines then. I believe that the red baron's famous plane had a rotary engine. So they must be Fockers :D

Does anyone have the most up to date rules for Khorne daemon teams?

I remember way back in the Citadel Journal days there were rules for them but they were loaded with special rules (always a sign of bad team design). I do remember fanatic magazine or one of the BB mags had more up to date rules for them too. At least if they base it off an existing team there is a slim chance the team will be balanced.

I guess they could either go down the nurgle route and have weak khorne cultists, Khorngors, bloodletters in place of warriors and a daemon prince big guy. Or just swap Chaos warriors for bloodletters. I just hope they don’t try and do a bloodthirster star player.

Also that thread reminded me why I stopped visiting the Cyanide forum. Pointless bickering of utterly unrelated topics such as whether BB was meant to be played 1 off or league style then after 20 odd pages we finally get some new info. Darkson managed to sum up all the actual info in the 1st 20 pages in 1 short post.

Or it's a way of getting pact into the game under another guise?

There were a few

there was this one - http://www.midgardbb.com/GWTeams/Khorne.html

and these - http://www.sg.tacticalwargames.net/fanatic/47fct.pdf

Im guessing it is going to look something daft like this -

0-16 Adepts 50,000 6 3 3 8 Thrall GM SAP
0-4 Bloodletters 100,000 5 4 1 7 Horns, Frenzy, Blood Lust SGM AP
0-4 Khorne Warriors 100,000 5 4 2 9 Frenzy GSM AP
0-1 Minotaur 150,000 5 5 2 8 Horns, Frenzy, Mighty Blow, Thick Skull, Wild Animal SM GAP
Re-roll counter 70,000 gold pieces each

But what ever they come up with, I think this is a terrible idea. Why stray from the official rules?

I guess it will only benefit fumbbl in the end anyway :)

good guess in my opinion, but the khorne warriors could be beaten by a deamon too I guess

Oh and I guess the new two stars will be Hthark and Zzargh.

So they wont even be fixing the fact that there are loads of missing star players.

Well using logic I would be tempted to agree with you about Hthark as they seem to have favoured the quintessential star players, favouring those that already had models. Maybe the other star will be for Underworld, though I think all theirs are either goblin or skaven stars.

The sensible option would be to introduce 2 more stars that could be used by as many teams as possible or to help out those teams lacking in them, the human chainsaw would be ideal as he is cheap and plays for quite a few teams.

However that same logic caused me to be sure they wouldn’t be stupid enough to ignore the fans yet again and waste their time coming out with a completely new team when all they had to do was chaos up a human or norse lineman to make the Pact team.

So it will likely be Hthark and a Bloodthirster for the daemon team.

Yeah I won't be buying this edition.

I'll wait and see what is included in the "Black Box" if it ever happens before I decide on that.

I really just want a way to play online that has 100% of the CRP in it. All of the Stars, ALL of the inducements, all of the skills and all of the teams.

Cyanide was on their way to that point, now instead of modeling the Pact or Slann they add something pointless.
