OBBLM hosted on Mercury VPS problem

Hi all.
No idea what I'm doing wrong but I've followed the instructions but can't seem to login to my site. I'm trying to log in for the first time using root as username and password but nothing happens. Any suggestions?

Hiya,
Was this done through MercuryVPS? They should have sent you an email with login details if so. I think there's the root login and then another one, iirc..

They sent me login details which get me into the back end control panel but they don't work to log in and use the admin tab.

That's weird... this is with the username as 'root' and the password as your email address, right?
Are you able to register as a new user on the site?

Ah mate thank you. Logged in fine after using email as password. Sure i read root for both somewhere. Top MAn!
