Probably drop the lions or A lion and a Phoenix and try and get a second RR. Elves do everything on a a 2+, but don't be fooled, a good opponent will make you roll the dice a lot, and those 1's will pop up.

Also with the expense and CAS rate of elves, getting more RR's after the start of the team is tough, remember thier cost doubles after the first game.

I think Asperon has it right. I think you have correctly identified the Lions as a huge part of this roster- MV 8 and Str 3 is sweet.

The way I look at it though is as soon as you can add Lions they are a factor and getting them the TDs in your 3rd, 4th, etc games will be so easy that you might actually be avoiding it if you had oone at the start.

A single Phoenix can get 6 SPPs it the first 2 games, having to use LineElves to score over the same period is slightly harder but you will want those SPPs on the line soon enough anyway.

Yup, it will force you to develop your linemen early, which will only make you stronger later on.

I tried that exact starting roster about 3 months ago.

After 9 games my team is 4-5-0 in the PBEMBBL. I won my second game then went on a losing streak of 4 games before the ship began to right itself.

What I did was I bought a Phoenix Warrior after game 1, and after game 3 I bought a reroll and gave a player leader. That solved my reroll problems.

My overall record I attribute more to bad luck than anything else. I LOVE Lion Warriors and I have 4 of them now, 2 with Block and 2 with Dodge. I think they make great offensive and defensive specialists because of their speed and strength. I plan to put Strip Ball or Pass Block on the Blockers, and make the other two speed demons (one has Dodge, Sure Feet, the other has +1MA and Dodge).

i'm allways a great enemy of throwers in elf teams, they're pretty expensive most of the time and with AG 4 your line elves will throw the ball pretty easy anyway. And your allmost guaranteed a level up after the second game in addition to any others coz you will have an mvp and a com.
