A Silly Rules Question?

Hi....
This is my first legitimate post to this board (other than a couple of minor things). I've been browsing for quite a while, but have waited until now to muster up the courage to make a post Anywho... I've been playing GW games since highschool (now I'm a 4th year undergrad), and one of my favorites has always been Blood Bowl. I started playing in 3rd edition (?), when they re-released it in the late ninties, and was hooked. Once university came along, I really ran out of time for this stuff, and have just recently dusted off the toys for the summer. As this is getting a little long-winded, I suppose I'll get to my question I've come across many discussions of rules on this board, and was wondering what the new standard, "official" rules are. I've seen posts on BB2K1, Living Rule book, 4th. ed, etc.. etc.. etc... and I was wondering if someone could fill me in on the chronology of the rules since 3rd. ed. and perhaps tell me what rulebook I should read to be up to date. Sorry for the long-winded post guys...
Thanks,
Bryn
