BB2K1?

Post by Scott King »

OK, a couple of questions.

First, what are the rule changes for BB2K1?. I tried to access them from Bloodbowl.net, but the page was unavailable. When can I see it? I only know the rules from the 3rd ed boxed sets.

Also, I am not really a computer genius. How do you go about setting up a team for a PBeM, and getting it into a format that can be loaded into the game? It may seem like an obvious answer to some, but I'm not sure :-?

Scott King,

Not sure about the downlaod from Fanatic's site. However, for PBEM:-

To see how a roster needs to look. download any of the rosters from Galak's site:-

http://www.midgardbb.com/MBBL2/Season2/ ... esults.htm

Right click and click save as (a name).

If you want in game pictures, the other important thing is to ensure that you have all the pictures in the correct directory:-

BB2k1_PBeM/roster

IE all pictures should be in a directory called roster at the same level as the ini folder (there are 3 folders in the BB2k1_PBEM folder:- images, ini and roster).

You can download the pictures and an Excel spreadsheet called Team tracker from Galak's site too. I also have set up a spreadsheet which does this - see the following thread:-

viewtopic.php?t=1256

You can download it from:-

http://www.dn-allen.supanet.com/Excel/BBRoster.zip

but you do need Excel 2000 (or later) for the HTML to work.

That should do it.

The new rules are avaliable at http://www.bloodbowl.com, the GW site on Blood Bowl under the Living Rulebook section. Go and download the 1.3 version of it.

LRB is based on the 3rd edition ruleset + death zone, with changes writen in blue in the pdf book, so you will find them pretty soon and easy.

There are plenty of threads in this forum about clarifications of those new rules, so a simple search will be quite practical.
