Clearly.

So are you going to stay, even though the forum isn't to your liking?

There is an excellant search function. Also, you can see the threads you haven't read by clicking on the first page link:

TBB started out with only a handful of forums, but over time, these forums became full of postings that were better suited in a forum dedicated to that subject. I'd rather see multiple forums each directed at a certain subject rather one or two forums full of posts completely unrelated to each other.

Several of the forums were requested by members of TBB and I agreed to create them to ease congestion elsewhere. I have been thinking of altering the category/forum list, renaming forums (sometimes the original name isn't suitable for a forum once 100 of postings are made) and possibly even emalgamating a few of them. It's the rules and Teams categories that I feel need the most attention.

As stated in some of the messages here, it is purely down to the individuals tastes, there has never been any complaints until recently, after 430+ bloodbowlers have already registered and used TBB.

There may be some subtle changes over time to alter the look slightly or add features, but not to the extent that Zombie and Toby want to see. But their comments are noted.

I'm happy with TBB the way it is and unless the vast majority of members feel that it needs changing, it's gonna stay the way I like it.

Eh, argumentative folks like Zombie and I like branching threads because they multiply the number of arguments we can get into. We also like being able to scan one big forum for growing debates instead of looking in a bunch of little forums that are all so focused that you feel wrong redirecting the topic into some more inflammable.

It looks like Zombie won't get his wish, but can I make one? I'd like to see the "mark all topics read" button redirect to the main page instead of the forum. That's all.

"Eh, argumentative folks like Zombie and I like branching threads because they multiply the number of arguments we can get into. "

Does that mean you also like to complain more?

My 100th Post!

It means we complain more when it looks like there's not enough people complaining, and we express gratitude when there's not enough folks doing that.

By the way, are you complaining about how often I complain?

Agreed about the "mark all topics" thingy.

I'll add this one to the list: when you post something, you can either see your post or get back to the forum. I'd like to get back to the thread, but i can never do that in one click.

Really though, not having branching threads (thanks for the term Pinky) is a huge hit for me. I just can't get over that or why people would want it any other way.

I like this forum alot better than the BBC. I like the layout and the people much better. (at least the attitudes of the people)

I've got to say that I like the format exactly the way it is....

It is handy to have comments put into sections, I personally am not overly interested in the "for sale" & "minatures" sections as I seem to live in an area that has nobody intersted in playing - so I get my kicks on line, no need for minnis!
I dont want to have to go through the postings wondering what they are about if I am not interested in them. At least I know when I go in "PBeM" I know what i'll be getting into.

I'd like to complain about people who hold things up by complaining about people complaining.

It's about time something was done about it.
